Clash of the Titans in Fifteen Minutes
Before we start: I seem to be nominated for a thing! (And so are copperbadge and otterdance!) My name is misspelled, and Neil Gaiman will probably crush us all, but I've never been nominated for a thing before, so that's pretty awesome. Voting ends on--4/15, I think?

So. PREVIOUSLY ON MOVIES IN FIFTEEN MINUTES, FOR REASONS THAT WILL LATER BE APPARENT: TroyKing Arthur! 300! A couple of Twilight things! So... here's a palate cleanser before Eclipse, I guess.

She's going to spank me?Collapse )

Solon, the older guy I spent half the movie thinking might somehow be Bernard Hill!

I... I really feel as though I need an icon of the "BITE ME, CAT BOY" part, 'cause I lol'd forever XDDD

This parody makes me feel a lot better about having spent ten bucks on seeing it, hah. ♥

HOORAY, I didn't hallucinate Io's wigged-out Muppet cloak! VINDICATION!!!

I spent half the movie thinking that guy was Bernard Hill, too. I don't quite know why.

I suspect my forehead has permanent palm prints from every time Perseus stupidly refused Zeus' gifts or whined about "doing this as a man." Yeah, not going to happen.

Thank you. I totally needed all these laughs.

Argosian = Argive.

Did they really bring IO back? This movie sounds like an OMGWTFBBQ.
I think I'll just stick with your version. The real movie might make me have an aneurysm in the theater....
Did you see it in 3D? I heard that was awful

YAY, parody goodness!

In some places, it's hard to tell what you mean. When Draco says "Awesome," it's not clear whether he's sarcastic or not.

No, but you put me in front of that kraken, I can fish the shit out of it.

Hee hee hee.

Is it sad that "they've got air conditioner vents instead of faces" makes me think "Hm, maybe I should see it after all"?

I had the exact same feeling. So in any case, you're not the only one.

ZEUS: Son, that's really a bit too close to bestiality for me.

Favorite part, especially since I had to study Roman/Greek mythology in Latin class in high school.

Awesome--loved the whole thing!

This movie needed less Perseus moaning and more Gods and larger-than-life Liam Neeson and less creeper Hades... why is Hades always the bad guy?! :"(

Needless to say, this is awesome and you are a genius. HADESMORT. ♥

WITCH TWO: good luck with that is how I felt through the entire movie!

I had no intention of seeing this movie and now have been *greatly* amused by it while still having no intention to see it. (Sorry. If the original had Bubo the Mechanical Owl, it also had Burgess Meredith and the pretty- full pantheon and a Pegasus that could have shown up in Greece, instead of Friesland. This remake may not have been, strictly speaking, necessary. In my opinion.)

It's so good to see you back writing again. I haven't read through all of it, but what I have read is hilarious as ever. My husband's bound to be happy his favorite Cleoism makes an appearance (he's been a fan of "OM NOM NOM" since Cloverfield).

Me personally, I still love the "Brothers intro" to 300, since I use that scene to describe what you do with Movies in 15 Minutes to other peeps so they can get bit by the bug (but they usually just satisfy that by borrowing my copy of THE BOOK, so meh).

The Happening in 15 Minutes Movie

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that my friend and I created a film version of The Happening in 15 Minutes. You can watch it on YouTube. I hope you like it!

I give you Stabby Leap in miniskirt as you so brilliantly put it because that man is the only reason I went to see that movie.

I'm glad I'd left my brain at home when I went, though. Don't need a brain for eye candy. And definitely didn't need a brain for that movie, after all, the guys who wrote it didn't use their.

I'm going to have to re-read this parody goodness again before I go to bed because I hadn't laughed so hard in a long time and I needed it today.

*goes back to reading your book she found at the public library in her small town in New Zealand*
