Clash of the Titans in Fifteen Minutes
Before we start: I seem to be nominated for a thing! (And so are copperbadge and otterdance!) My name is misspelled, and Neil Gaiman will probably crush us all, but I've never been nominated for a thing before, so that's pretty awesome. Voting ends on--4/15, I think?

So. PREVIOUSLY ON MOVIES IN FIFTEEN MINUTES, FOR REASONS THAT WILL LATER BE APPARENT: TroyKing Arthur! 300! A couple of Twilight things! So... here's a palate cleanser before Eclipse, I guess.

She's going to spank me?Collapse )

Aww, I first thought you were going to summarize the old Clash of the Titans, with the hilarious stop-motion monsters. The new one is not nearly as fun.

I cracked up at the 'GIANT LORD HADESMORT' part xD

you know I avoided this POS because for all the Harry Hamlin/Burgess Meredith/Sir Fricking Lawrence Olivier narmy bad-goodiness of the original (and the hawt slashiness of Hamelin and Tim Piggot Smith as that One Guy Who Dies by Scorpion), it was FUN dammit. Still is.

I am so glad I didn't see this now. I think I would have walked out with Athena XD

So, I'm finally getting around to actually watching this, and for the first time in the history of EVER, I have to disagree with your portrayal of characters.

The Djinn, you called them Jawas with the driftwood and such... NO. They are human form TRANSFORMERS! I swear I even heard one of them make the transforming noise. *nod*

Yeah, it was pretty fun. I probably won't be doing another until Deathly Hallows, though. I'm working on two books at the moment.

Thank you! You made this movie less painful :D

Really, I wanted to like it, but got through a full 6 minutes before my brain was screaming "ANCIENT GREEKS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY" so loud I had to turn it off. I didn't even make it to the Saint Seiya armors! Greek mythology geek sadface.

Hades (The Place)
HADES (THE GUY):

LOL.

Also, your descriptions of the acton scenes make me want to watch it! Maybe I'll just skip all the bits when they talk...

Totally late on the bandwagon 'cause I only saw the movie like yesterday, but I've been wanting to watch it ever since you posted the parody.

Lol irl at Queen Atia of the Julii. MTE when I saw her xD

Ohh this was SO FUNNY! I just love your m15ms. I actually saw this movie in theaters like seven months ago or whenever it was out, but just got around to reading it now. Love it so hard! <3

"Perseus pops up out of the boss scorpion like a stripper out of the worst birthday cake ever."
*dies*
"They've got, like, air conditioner vents instead of faces, and they think Eusebios looks really, really tasty. I cannot disprove this hypothesis."
*twitches a few times*
"Well, technically, our parents were the titans, but your hellrobes don't go too well with my sparkle armor, so maybe that counts."
Yes. Yes it does.

IO: Look! Zeus left you all these pega... su... ses... si... HE LEFT YOU A BUNCH OF HORSYBIRDS.

I know it's part of the joke, but there is actually a word for it: pterippus. Pterippi for plural.

I remember in the theater when the girl said to perseus that he was the "best of both" some guy shouted out "should have called him hovis!" - nearly died of laughter lol

Release the Kraken! The movie is imaginative and entertaining too.
